"As a world traveler and platinum member of Expedia for many years in a row this was by far one of the worst stays of my entire life. Not only was it inconvenient to check-in due to construction, the bar next door is connected on multiple floors and is noisy and smells terrible. The room itself does not feature anything modern and the furniture looks flimsy and cheap. Furthermore the shower and bathroom were very antiquated. Lastly even for just a 1 night stay the hotel staff rudely insisted on a $250 security deposit which seemed excessive because it was more than my reservation itself. And if that wasn’t bad enough there is no complimentary water (costs $4), nothing is stocked in the kitchenette and I was charged $24.47 mysteriously upon checkout even though I didn’t touch anything. "

"Clean room and hot tub but it did smell like smoke in the room but once you put the air on it’s fine. We Love this place. Hunny and I always get a way from our teenagers and book here all the time. Some alone time just for the both of us! ❤️"

"The kitchen was not equipped for cooking. You have to ask for the pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. You also had to ask for dish soap , sponge and laundry detergent. Dish towels or paper towels were not available."

"Staff were very friendly and very helpful and the cleaning team were very sweet as well. The highlight of this hotel is where is located in the downtown area of Philly and exactly 2 minutes walking distance from the reading market. The hotel is huge and it has a huge capacity for a lot of guest, but the amenities are way too little. Also it’s a bummer that when you’re booking with Expedia or any other third-party, you take the room with the worst view. "
