"I had a newly renovated room which was well decorated. A shame they didn't sound proof the adjoining room walls. The room had not been check again by house cleaning prior to my stay and it had lots of inspects on the floor in the bathroom under the skylight. This was not cleaned up by house keeping while I was there. I ended up washing them out of the bathroom myself the day before I departed. The restaurant was well attended but terribly under staffed. Considering the staffing levels, the dinner menu was too complicated and should have more simplified meals. All of their dishes were too overly focused on native ingredients, wattle seed etc. I am not an expert but enjoy my food, but some food on the plate needs to be plain to compliment the fancier finishes. The dish sizes were small, and I guess due to the slow service came out barely warm. You wouldn't want to be feeding a sports person or a hungry teenager on what is presently on the menu. Some simpler, quick to prepare dishes please. I have been going to this restaurant for evening drinks for over 12 years now. It is delightful to do so. This was the first time I have ever stayed in the hotel rooms. Would I stay again, yes. There is a lovely pool, which I will hope to use if I stay again, particularly if it was in summer. It would be magic. Overall, Peppers Management, I expected better."

"What a MAGICAL place!! We stayed in winter and it was stunning! I can not get over this place, it was quiet and secluded, rustic in the very best way and so cozy! They have a wood burning fireplace and it kept us warm and created the perfect atmosphere for a romantic little get away. We did some hikes right from the property, there was plenty of trails and the wildlife was everywhere! I wish I could curl up here for a month."
