"Beautiful setting. Great and spacious bedroom and bathroom suite. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens which were quiet. At present their restaurant and spa are closed which was disappointing. I would recommend having a car to stay here as it isn’t possible to walk anywhere and it is c30 minutes in a taxi to Cape Town and 15 minutes to Hout bay. We had expected to be able to eat in the hotel. "

"The hotel is nice in general. Amazing breakfast with Amazing view. Breakfast only available between 8:00-9:00 the other option from 9:00-10:00 was already sold out at our check in time at 16:00 the day before. We had no aircondition in the room. The room had 35 degrees on our arrival. We were not able to sleep due to the heat."

"Love staying here. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, slept like a baby. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is simple but lovely. I even worked out with the owner, Martin. Very family-owned vibe. Get a SPA/massage from Susie. She was amazing. All in all, a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. I will return! Oh yeah, spend a beach day at Llandudno, perhaps the prettiest beach I've ever seen at sunset, frigid waters but just a lovely place to send an afternoon. "

"Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must. This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it. "

"We chose this note for our honeymoon and I can honestly say I was highly impressed the overall service is top notch and their shuttle service made everything so easy we didn’t have to book an uber or use a taxi for anything. One driver in particular was so personable and top notch his name was Lulu so if you get lucky to have him as your chauffeur you will be very pleased. Breakfast 10/10 "

"What a place! Everything is fabulous and the staff are exceptional. This was our 6th visit to the Cellars and it won’t be our last. The beautiful gardens together with the stylish interiors make for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The restaurant food is delicious too, what’s not to like? "
