"This was a terrible place. I don't recommend it at all especially if travelling with minors. The hotel failed to communicate that they were cleaning the pool with chemicals. There was no sign or notice. We took our children for a early swim when all the sudden our kids started coughing. We got out immediately and the children ended up having a horrible reaction to the pool chemicals. We had to call a doctor due to the rashes. It was a terrible experience for us. "Pros: The hotel sits on a long, wide and beautiful stretch of beach with an amazing view of the bay. Best in Play la Ropa. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and extremely well maintained. Beautiful tall palm trees throughout the property. The pools are nice and they have a separate pool for adults only. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The housekeeping staff is absolutely fantastic. They clean the room in the day and come in the evening to refresh towels and turndown. Housekeeping is best in class. The hotel has tennis courts and a gym although it is a bit small for the size of the resort. Cons: It is expensive and there are other fees. In addition to the room rate the hotel charges a "property fee". When I ordered from the room service menu the food arrived with a "delivery fee" in addition to the stated price on the menu and then they want an additional tip. The reception person at check in was not very welcoming. All she wanted was a credit card and signatures. No one walked me around to show the property. Felt more like checking into the college dorm. The property sells day passes to the public so the pools and beach may be filled with people not staying there making it crowded and less peaceful. Changes the feel of the resort. My room was a ground floor lagoon suite, not very much natural light and the patio and plunge pool sat right on the cart path so no privacy at all. Noise from above was noticeable. The food was just average."

"El hotel está situado en diferentes niveles los cual hace complicado el desplazamiento dentro de la propiedad para personas con discapacidad. Aunque los cuartos están limpios y bien mantenidos, no tienen pantallas que apliaciones para utilizar servicios de streaming. El personal muy amable y con buena actitud. La comida en los restaurantes de buen sabor y calidad aun que un poco caro."

"This is a Beautiful Resort and the staff is amazing! The swim up bar and the view is just Wow So Amazing and food is always very delicious. Everything we ate was very good and fresh at the hotel. The staff would bring us a bucket of beer with chip and guacamole every evening this was a nice treat. You will Love the hotel and staff."

"The staff was amazing! Everyone was helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean, can't complain there. The only thing that I would have wanted would have been a greater variety of food at the buffet restaurant other than that the Views were amazing from my room. Overall I had a very good experience at this resort. The activities at the pool were a lot of fun as well. One Last thing, if you are planning on a relaxing stay, this might not be the hotel for you, we stayed Friday through Monday and every night there was Disco Club night so there was music playing until 12 midnight and the next day, Saturday, until 1 am. I was traveling with my elderly parents so this was something we didn't like."
