"Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. "No walkable location dark dodge in nights. But a good location for few tourist areas. Would recommend the Management to go for non-smoking hotel. The hotel could attract more guests. "Exceptionally friendly and courteous and helpful clerk at the front desk Basic hotel with a necessary amenities and my room actually had a kitchen. Some decent restaurants next door, but it’s about a 40 minute walk or a five minute taxi ride to the waterfront. Overall a good budget option. There doesn’t seem to be any middle range properties here but there are lots of Western branded high-end resorts."
