"I loved my stay at this hotel. Yes, the hotel is old and outdated for sure, but it is kept clean. My room was small, but the bed was bigger than expected. The free, hot breakfast was very nice. "This business hotel is a model of efficiency. Rooms are small, compact, but designed for efficiency. If you like a good value, this is the place. Includes a healthy breakfast, use of pajamas, and toiletries. Rooms are not cleaned everyday, which keeps costs low. Good location. "

"This is a motel, but it seems fine for families too. The room was very pretty and very spacious. The bed was king sized so plenty of room in it. The bathroom was fully stocked with nearly everything you might want. Everything looked pretty clean and stylish. The shower room was the real kicker though. It's huge and the bathtub was plenty roomy with jetbath nozzles everywhere. It also had a "Impressive bath" setting that made super small bubbles that kinda tingle. The one drawback was that...

"I am giving four stars only for one reason. Our stay was wonderful, the restaurant was exceptional and the art islands are the experience of life time. Everything was perfect until our departure. We came to collect our luggage and our train was departing in about hour and half. The hotel had small room where you can make yourself a cup of tea and sit at a table. So I ask for us to go there. The receptionist reply that it is not possible because we checked out. I gave her a very surprised look so...

"The hotel was close to the castle and gardens also close to the bus station with a direct bus to the port to travel to Naoshima. The staff were very friendly. Traditional Japanese breakfast was very good."
