"We had our wedding reception in this hotel 28 years ago, and it was the nicest hotel in town at that time. However, I am sad to say it is really showing its age. There was no fan in the bathroom, nor were there any towel racks to place towels on if you are staying more than one night. The fold out couch in our suite was disgustingly dirty and the mattress is a sheet of springs with a cloth cover, probably was one of the original furnishings. "The stay was great, the kids had lots of fun. The only issue we had was breakfast was pretty terrible. Cold food and the potatoes were definitely not fresh. We went somewhere else to eat. Other than that, everything was pretty awesome."

"Hilton Paper Valley has been our home away from home since our Lawrence student started the college journey a few years ago.
We love it! The staff, the breakfast buffet, the rooms, the views, the location, Lombardi's, short walk to Lawrence, nearby parks, parades and farmers' markets!
We will miss our several times a year trips to Appleton and our stays at the Hilton Paper Valley.

"We had an extremely early flight at the airport across the street from the hotel so we stayed one night only. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and explained the hotel amenities (e.g., breakfast, coffee) very well. It is not a luxury hotel but it is a nice place to stay if you are flying one of the first flights out in the AM."
