"We stayed in Cottage 2 and it was the most spectacular room we have ever stayed in! We refer to it now as the “perfect room”. I loved all the light and the glass wall that opened up for lovely fresh air. The grounds were beautiful and inviting. We walked around the Park Run, admired the olive and oak trees, and grape plants, and petted the donkeys. The hosts were terrific—warm and welcoming—and the breakfasts were extraordinary. We look for to visiting Duikersdrift again. "

"It is so easy to give this establishment a five-star rating and I probably will not do it justice. Suffice it to say, if you need a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, you cannot go wrong! It is amazing value and from the warm welcome from the owners, Venishree and Juergen to the beautiful accommodations, plush beddings, thoughtful amenities and superb service, we were so impressed after our initial 6 night stay that we booked another weekend immediately and I cannot wait to go...

"The property was very centrally located to so many wineries, and other towns. Riana our host was beyond amazing. Her communication, service and suggestions of things to do were fantastic. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, and the showers and bathtub were what you'd want in any hotel to relax with hot shower or a bubble bath. 10/10 would recommend staying here. "

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and were very impressed from the Smeg stove to the dishwasher, the aircon worked well and fans were much needed in the bedrooms. "Tulbagh is a great base to stay for a few days and Mountain Manor is the best accommodation you could hope for. A short drive from the lovely little town with great restaurants and wine farms. Stunning scenery and hiking trails. "

"Our check-in.was effortless and the host was very accommodating as we told them we will be a bit late. They advised us where to go for dinner and was up early the next morning to see us off. Comfortable bed and clean fresh smelling linen. Even rusk for our morning coffee. Affordable and good for family as well as solo travel. "

"No swimming towels made available, told to make use of our bath towels. Swimming pool was dirty with crickets and dead frogs in it. The bath towels are old and hard. The bedding is stained with old marks. Paint is peeling off walls in unit. No-one emptied dustbins over a 2 days stay even though we placed this outside. Wine glasses on the shelf cracked. Iron was rusted and marked out clothing. Remote control for gate not working. Did not need or want to hear Receptionist’s work history....

"Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. The music were turned...

"Not very impressed! Room outdated but clean some bed side lights not working . Television from the 90’s without one single clear channel thank goodness I had my laptop. Also I booked with breakfast included on Expedia. The GM said no it’s not included. Even when I showed him my confirmation for breakfast he still flatly stated no again and that I would have to pay for it Otherwise room was clean. Just glad I only had one night booked"

The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. After struggling to find someone to assist us on arrival we we where taken to our cottage. The cottage had an overpowering smell of room spray that burnt your eyes. it was very clear that...

"It was a wonderful stay. Bed was so comfortable. I was disappointed with not enough milk for coffee. And the tv channels were pretty poor. The signal was even abit blurry so tv quality I would say was bad and channel selection. But those would be my only two complaints."

"Schöne, grosse Zimmer. Nur ein Badezimmer für 6 Personen. Küche gut eingerichtet mit allen, was es braucht. Sofa mit vielen Flecken (schmuddelig). Generell ist der Stubenbereich ziemlich dunkel und noch sehr einladend. Auch die Gartenmöbel könnten mal ersetzt werden (alles rostig) - Grill haben wir nicht benutzt."
