Colmenar Hotel Guide - 3 Stars Hotels in Colmenar, Andalusia

Gorgeous hotel managed by the owners , blissfully peacefull

I went into my stay at Olive & Ivy with high expectations, having read so many glowing reviews beforehand. Happy to say: not only were those expectations met, they were completely surpassed. This little hotel is a gem. The attention to detail everywhere – from the decor to the little thoughtful touches in the room – is absolutely amazing. You can feel the love and care that’s been poured into every corner. The owners are wonderfully friendly, always greeting you with a genuine smile. They...

Tom and Olga were great hosts, and very helpful. The room was lovely, with all the essentials needed. The kitchen enabled us to cook full meals, with a lovely patio area to enjoy them on. The gardens and pool were great spaces to relax in. The apartment was also close to the beach.

We have just had the best holiday ever staying at this wonderful hotel, right on the beach front, in an area about 5.5 KM from the port. We were fortunate to have a rooftop room with access to a Jacuzzi. The views were wonderful of the port and the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. The staff were brilliant and worked very hard. They were all constantly back and forth, fulfilling the requirements of guests as well as all the customers who frequented the hotel for food and drinks. The staff were...

Very well maintained hotel with friendly staff and fantastic views from bedrooms and restaurant. I was happy to walk up and down hill sometimes twice a day to catch the bus into the city as it is a lovely walk but might be very hard to do in the summer heat. Obviously not a problem if you have a car. Staff were even happy to help me practise my Spanish! Breakfast also excellent with a choice of an extensive buffet and/or eggs every day for a cost of only 10 Euros. Beautiful dining rooms and...

Charming mountain hide away, lovingly decorated throughout. Views are amazing and a nice pool for those chilled out days. The best welcome you could ever get, very friendly, helpful hosts. Fresh breakfast prepared daily by Linsey, which tasted delicious. Don't ever pass up on her sourdough! You will not be disappointed should you visit, Cant recommend it enough.

The hotel was situated in a quiet, very Spanish suburb of Malaga, about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. We met few other tourists whilst out in the area. There were bicycles available for guests to use which were great fun and useful! The hotel was spotless and breakfast excellent. Our hosts, Frens and Jeroen, were friendly and always willing to give advice about local restaurants and activities. Overall a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

Nice apartment if not a little lacking in facilities. Lovely quiet pool. Nothing in the town nearby and quite a drive from other areas and the coast. Great place for a big party though !!

Location was too far away from the centre - not walkable due to road networks

Great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with crisp linens and a light, fresh scent that made it feel welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly and offering quick assistance whenever needed. The beach view was beautiful, especially in the morning, with soft golden light over calm waves and the sound of seagulls drifting in. Parking was also convenient and made our stay easier, with easy access right near the entrance. Overall, a pleasant place to stay for a...

Walking distance to bus stop thst takes you to market, beach and bus depot. From bus deput can take transport to other places , such as granada. Provided gluten free options for breakfast, this was bread and cake which were sealed.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel in Malaga. The staff were truly impressive and made my stay even more enjoyable. I especially want to mention the two ladies who stood out the most, Claude in particular was absolutely wonderful. She was lovely, caring, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their kindness and professionalism made a big difference, and I would happily return again.

This place was perfect for our stay in Malaga! The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It had heating, air con, a comfy bed, waterfall shower, a full kitchen and dining seating area & a sofa with a big TV. There was also a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance. The harbour was around a 15-20 minute walk, the train station was a 20 minute walk & there were lots of local restaurants and shops nearby. I couldn’t recommend this...
