"I really enjoyed my stay during my 24 hour layover in Xiamen. The staff were very kind and helpful, although my Chinese is not very good they still understood and helped me in Chinese which i really appreciated. Alrgough they could speak English if needed. The restaurant still made dinner for me even though I came in 5 minutes before closing and no one else was there The TV in my room was too low to be able to hear about 25% of the time. And annoyingly, although hotels.com says it has Airport...

"Counter staff were courteous n efficient. Buffet more to Chinese style. Room is clean. Location is accessible to anywhere by bus. "

"Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfast buffet has a very good selection. I didn't use the restaurant in the evening. Three are lots of restaurants in the area and the hotel is very close to a metro station."

"I needed a room and free airport transfers for an overnight layover. This did not end up being ideal for that situation but might be good for a longer stay as long as you confirm the airport transfer well in advance. Communication was very difficult (English speaker) and the instructions for the check-in process were not clear. I ended up having to pay for a taxi to and from the airport. The room was beautiful and clean."

"I was charge again when i check in. The hotel said the amount charged before from my credit card when i booked the room was a deposit and will be refunded by expedia. But i have not heard any news yet from expedia."
