"Really liked our stay at Star Shell. The staff are excellent and super helpful. We were travelling with two young kids and honestly their service and friendliness really made our trip so much easier. "Upon coming off the boat from Maldives the hotel driver was waiting for us, helped us with our luggage, when we had arrived 10 minutes later it started to rain, we were greeted by two others that gave us a umbrella each and handled our luggage to reception, easy check in & everything was explained about breakfast bar etc, all of the room was explained fully, we had a lovely room with great views, dinner was very good and reasonable & the view was of the bay & the airport, easy checkout. "I had an Oceanview room with a small balcony. I loved it. I sat outside and watched the waves and seaplanes coming into the airport. The hotel was directly across the street from the dive operator I went scuba diving with so the location was perfect for me. It was also an easy walk to the ferry terminal which was the meeting point for a snorkeling/sandbar tour I took. I was there 3 nights and will likely stay there again in the future. "

"Our stay at Ayala Ocean View was superb! We stayed for 4 nights and were so sad to leave! The food was great, rooms were incredibly clean (and also cleaned twice a day!) and spa was so lovely. The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us - they organised sun beds for us on the beach, lent us snorkel equipment and even let us shower in a spare room after we had checked out. Would not hesitate to recommend! "

"The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. "

"Room is of reasonable size. There is space for us to open up two luggages. The room is clean and proper. However our room on the first floor can practically hear every noise from the restaurant which makes it difficult to sleep. The tv is also not working. "

"we chose the island instead of a village to experience more of the local life. the Sunrise hotel we can compare it to the typical Rimini hotel but with 100 times better reception and climate. Always ready to help. some faults in the details but .... what does it matter ??????!!!! we had a great time thanks guys !!!!"
