"Everything was good,"

"A very nice boutique hotel, just across from the beach. The room was small, but livable, bed was comfy, AC and WiFi worked well. Nice rooftop area (with food brought up from the restaurant downstairs). Good breakfast buffet, and a decent menu for lunch and dinner. The staff were excellent! They were very responsive, helpful, and friendly. I enjoyed my time there, and would stay there again."

"Nice reasonably priced boutique hotel right on the beach north of Malè airport. Restaurants and shops are walkable and a short cab ride to/from the airport. There are dive shops and water excursions right across the street on the beach. Would not hesitate to recommend. Staff was friendly and accommodating!"

"We didnt really enjoy staying at this hotel at all. We felt like an inconvenience to the staff. There was no ambience at all - you feel like you are walking into an abandoned room. Simple changes would really lift this hotel - - staff that smile, laugh & are happy. - Our room needed a deep clean - there was mould growing on the bathroom glass. - Some minor repairs & maintenance to doors. - at least add some flowers to the tables or placemats & play some soft music so people feel...

"Blocks off the beach. Beach sand coral and coarse. Host is responsive and provides a concierge. Access to surfing spots. Seasonal temperature and humidity is bordering intolerable. Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. Safe and fair value, fantastic effort by host and concierge as much as possible. Long and pricey taxi by boat ($50 a couple each way) to arrive at the property. Noise disturbances...

"Great stay at Amber Beach. Includes airport transfer even if transferring form a resort island via the Airport. Staff was helpful and was able to give us a late checkout since our flight was at 8pm! They also are able to hold luggage if needed. Easy access to cafes and restaurants. Direct beach access as well. Breakfast buffet also very good. "
