"I've stayed here on numerous occasions and it's always 5 stars from me but this time it wasn't as good. They were painting 2 floors below and the smell of paint thinners was overpowering. "Horrible place. Restaurant charges 2-5 times more than outside prices. Despite this, I decided to eat there exclusively to avoid getting sick. Got horrible food poisoning on the second day anyways. Air conditioning was extremely noisy and kept me up all night. Room was somehow dirtier after cleaning then before. Came back the second day to dirt and glass all over my bed cover. Called housekeeping to correct and they never came. Finally ended up finding a vacuum cleaner and cleaning...

"The room was cleanly kept, upon my arrival each day. And the staff was always cheery with a smile, very easy to talk to. The room had a minisplit air conditioner that could freeze you out in minutes if you wanted, and their WiFi and smart TVs were modern and fast, didn’t run into power hiccups or latency issues. Their pool was cleanly and they also have nice well behaved cats that you’ll see from time to time just as elsewhere within Nairobi. I really enjoyed being right beside village market...
