"Importantly the floor - beautiful white floor tiles 2ftX2ft were everywhere and gave a very impressive upscale appearance. The furniture was moderate, and the staff were friendly and courteous. They could improve the TV by adding two more Sri Lankan channels, there were too many channels with foreign languages no local guests understands. "The house was wonderful to stay in and visit. The only comment and this is a more philosophical one - what is the balance between originality and being fresh for a guest to inhabit? I think this needs careful thinking through. The house is wonderfu and its a great place to stay if you love Bawa architecture, but some areas could do with cleaning more thoroughly or replacing. "We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."
