"The hotel allows pets, and we had a bad experience with a neighbor who let their dog bark on and off all night. The staff tried to locate the room with the dog, but the barking was not continuous. After at least 4 calls to the front desk, they located the dog, but the dog continued to bark occasionally through the night. We enjoyed a lot of other aspects of the hotel, but not being able to sleep most of the night ruined our experience here."

"The pictures on line are COMPLETELY misleading. The place was made out to be a beautiful lodge. It is an old Motel 6 type of place that is very old. The room smelled like an old fish aquarium, the TV didn't work, at midnight the a/c stopped working, the shampoo in the shower was completely empty, the bed was HORRIBLE and probably the same one from Motel 6 days. The hot tub with pool was out of order. When all of this was explained the young man at the lobby desk just stared at me and wrote our...

"We didn’t get to stay in the Stanley proper but stayed at Aspire which ended up being ok because that’s where the pool and hot tub were located and my kids loved that. Rooms were very clean and amenities were satisfactory. Didn’t catch any ghost sightings but I imagine everyone walking up and down the hall right near your room if you’re staying right in the hotel would be annoying after a while or even just screw up if you thought you heard a real ghost or just people looking around. Anyways...
