"This was a complete scam. Although we booked and paid via Hotels.com, when we arrived, they said they had no record of pur booking and insisted that we pay (again) at the desk. DO NOT BOOK!"

"They are still doing some remodeling at the hotel. Wi-Fi was good and I had hot water, A/C, and clean room. No elevator so you need to be able to climb stairs (not all steps are same height). Staff got up at 5am to help us get our rooms after very long travel from the USA. Right across from the police station so it’s safe. "

"The hotel and the staff are very good. They do a good job of taking care of you and making you comfortable. The problem is that we made a paid & guaranteed reservation and when we arrived they had no record of the reservation. We had to find a different hotel because they were fully booked. That place did not work out and we had to find yet another hotel, which again did not work out because it was located next to a very loud lounge at night. We ended up back at the Dream Palace a few days...

"The check in staff knew nothing about online booking platforms, nothing about hotel.com or trivago etc. And so I was denied access and turned away. I was only saved by my adamant insistence that they call their next superior as the manager of the day walked away from me saying she knew nothing of what I was saying. The person on the other end of the phone eventually instructed them to check me in. It was a most embarrassing moment "
