"This is absolutely a five star property experience, and to be frank, anyone who says otherwise is just and idiot. The property is manicured daily by a large group of caretakers, and the staff is constantly smiling at you while greeting you. It is set perfectly on the beach right in front of a biosphere for snorkeling, and very cheap (but great) restaurant extends to the beach as well. Don't give it a second thought, and just book it! "Pros:the dive company at this hotel is very good The hotel is good value for money The location is handy. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach Cons: as diving company is French, its owners and majority of guests are French, they sit around a very large table with lounge chairs and speak in French and smoke. I found this very alienating as we like to meet other travellers but felt excluded and as non smokers can't handle smoking. If you don't mind that then this hotel may suit you."

"We stayed one week here. Loved Lovina. The ever happy smiling staff were always friendly and helpful and took time to learn about us, nothing was too much trouble. I mistakenly booked a room with no fridge. I need one to store my medication. The management allowed me access to their private fridge and put a fridge in my room once one came available. To me this was above and beyond good service. The pool is a comfortable temperature. The food from the kitchen is very good. We ordered a lot from the hotel and was never disappointed. Also the food and beverages are very reasonably priced. The hotel is beach front with beautiful views and close vicinity to the main part of town. I will be returning and am a bit concerned that my glowing review will make it too crowded!"
