"The location is so magical. We have never been to anywhere like this place. The customer service is truly the best! We sent an email about arriving late at night (reception closes at 11pm), they sent instructions about how to access our cabin, so check in was seamless. Reception also gave us a portable wifi connector when we mentioned we could not get wifi connection in our cabin. They went out of their way to pack our breakfast the night before we check out as we were leaving before breakfast...

"The location is good - not far away from anywhere in Ruka. Apartment is clean, cozy and nicely decorated. If the booking is made, as we did, the same day as arrival, the check-in instructions may need to be called after. "

"We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up...

"We were unfortunate to visit Finland in an uncommon heat wave, which the hotel (and most finnish hotels as well) was not prepared to. We were resourceful and opened the big window which people usually only open to clean and that way we had tons of chilled air during the night. besides that, breakfast was simple yet tasty, generous and enough to satisfy your needs. the staff was helpful and friendly. the atmosphere is quiet and the view to the lake was astonishing! "24h service, warm accomodation with good parking, views and everything you need nearby. Highly recommended. Rent your own car to be more flexible in your adventure. Driving in winter also was not a problem at all. All roads are well maintained with good access to all the highlights around kuusamo and Ruka. Will book again."
