"Overall, the hotel seemed to be poorly managed. The room key pad's battery was dead and we were not able to re-access the room after our belongings were inside. The front desk staff member, Matt, was very helpful but was not fully trained on the procedure to unlock the door. "Each morning we sat in the living room enjoying a cup of coffee while watching and listening to the river flow by. We could see the young deer walking in the river nibbling on the overhanging leaves and a heron fishing for his dinner. The home is small, but roomy and very open. "The cottage was perfect for our trip. The bunk bed with a trundle was great for the teens while the adults were comfortable in the other two bedrooms (we didn’t have need for the Murphy bed in the living room, but if we had a larger group, it was another sizable bed!
