"Above average breakfast and friendly staff. Overall quiet Parking is a challenge, many areas in this non-smoking hotel have a strong smoking smell, overall dated. Flimsy shower curtain can transfer you bathroom into a swimming pool. In case you are wondering, no AC and open windows might provide a lot of information about your fellow hotel guests. To be fair, there was always some wellness program which I did not participate as well as special evening dinner events."

"Staffs are pretty nice and willing to help. Surprisingly, there's a little traffic on the road in front of the hotel in the morning. Breakfast is relatively fair (for this price). I would say that bed is the only one thing this hotel should improve since it's not flat anymore (feels like sleeping in a hammock). "

"Shocking! No reception to check you in despite it being 3pm, envelope left on stairs with room number! Breakfast was a joke, cereal, few bread buns and a menu offer to cook an egg and that was it! Didn’t even have a toaster! Room was ok but we were on top floor and having to carry cases up 3sets of stairs to the top floor wasn’t ideal! Bathroom was so small the door barely closed with sink and toilet. Bed was good though!"

"Beautiful traditional Black Forest hotel. We have been extremely well looked after by lovely staff. Who have gone out of their way to make our stay memorable. Really clean and comfortable. So good we’re staying another night. "

"The hotel was lovely however some challenges occured when trying to park the car (very limited parking in the premisses). Additionally there are no fans or air conditioning so going in the summer could prove a challenge. That said the staff is very warm and helpful and the town was delightful. Conveniently located near the Hbf."

"The hotel is located in a quiet location close to Tubingen. The staff was pleasant. Food was excellent and German traditional. We've come back to the place several times."

"The owner/manager went above and beyond. We arrived a little late (after check in hours) and he waited for us just to be sure we had a place to stay. Beautiful property. The views are amazing and the property is in great shape. We did not have a chance to eat there but the restaurant looks great. Thanks for having us there"

"It was all so perfect..one of the nicest hotels large or small we have stayed at...and we have stayed at lots. we will ge back there .so quiet and the hills and trails all right there and free bus and rail for that area when you stay in a local place.food so good and nothing was Not the very best.and the hotel staff were so nice and I spoke my bits of German to them."

"This pristine location was a superb place for utmost relaxation, very ,very clean, great and friendly staff ,eco friendly hotel awesome views of the surrounding towns ,great beer and wine, away from the noise, a healer for my migraine. Definitely will go back in the near future."

"Hotel was clean, conveniently located in this small town. To us, the hotel seemed more like a care home for pensioners, with spartan public spaces and an impersonal feel. We felt the hotel was under-staffed. Nothing bad about the breakfast, just nothing very good."
