"Paradise retreat after busier areas of Bali. It feels like a grand hotel of old with Incredible views, amazing staff - in particular ‘Goose’ provided our table with an absolutely 5 star dinner service. Good selection of food and wine. Spa service was terrific. A real highlight for us was doing the bicycle tour organized by the hotel with the wonderful Resa through the historical town and nearby rice fields. Such an authentic adventure. A very special place! Amazing value."

"Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. "Our one night stay in a 2 bedroom villa with private pool was outstanding. The villa was spacious and well laid out. The grounds surrounding the resort are lush, tropical and inviting. The resort is conveniently located right on the beach. The restaurant overlooks the beach making meal times relaxing and peaceful. "Place was great. Room was huge. Loved having a private balcony and large sofa to chill on. The one complaint I had was the shower. It was either really cold or really hot. Hard to take a shower. The area is really quite. Not a good beach to hang out at. Local beggars are constantly after $$$. The pool was a nice getaway. Staff was attentive and very nice."

"Kelapa comes right up to a black sand beach, and the view from the pool is fantastic. The rooms are more than spacious, and if you have a villa with a private pool you will have a full size pool; not a plunge pool. It was the perfect escape to wind down and relax after spending the first part of our trip in the more busy and crowded areas of Bali. If you are looking for a slower pace and more space than the more touristy areas of Bali this is the place. "
