"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel. Même si il était quelque peu éloigné des principaux attraits de la ville, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Les chambres sont propres et confortables et le personnel est attentionné. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié que l'hôtel nous offre gratuitement un billet de transport pour que nous puissions nous rendre au centre-ville et à la gare en autobus. Et que dire du petit déjeuner. Tout simplement délicieux !!!"

"Hotel Schere is the best place to stay in Northeim. Unless you are willing to travel to Gottingen, this is the best option. Rooms are generally comfy and for European standards larger. Showers can be a bit tight but htats to be expected. "

The rooms do not have air conditioning and we need it cool to sleep well but the open windows and fan were enough to be comfortable. "

"Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Hotel is virtually next to the Goslar Train Station. Short walk to the old town with beautiful wooden buildings, perfectly representing medieval Germany (pardon me if I am wrong), a wondering plaza, and the Kaiserplatz. Excellent housekeeping."

"Just a quick one-night stay. Room on the small side but functional. Due to the street noise, avoid the ones on the front side of the buildings. Public rooms VERY spiffy, warm, and welcoming (particularly, for Bad Harzburg). Smart interior design BEST BREAKFAST EVER!! Will go back."

"slightly quirky room and hotel layout. eg my room door opened into the room with a pillar imnediately behind it!. Food was excellent in the resteraunt, the hotel is set back from the village and it was lovely to be close to the woods and deer in the enclosure outside. Staff very helpfull."

"Hotel was fine, but not a great family hotel. We have three kids under 8. Patrons (October) were mostly older German adults. The room was not in great shape. The refrigerator was apparently being defrosted and was leaking all over the floor (with towels). Our room led to what seemed to be an abandoned hallway, but we couldn't lock the door from the inside. That being said, we loved our little hike on the hillside immediately next to the hotel. "Quaint and charming property with amazing kitchen service from our elegant multi course meal to the extravagant breakfast buffet in morning. Great location in town for strolling along to all of the shops as well as getting to trail heads for hiking up the mountain. "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "Beste Lage für lokale Unternehmungen, sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Essen im Restaurant Taut's (wir hatten Halbpension gebucht) und exzellentes Personal. Einen Stern (eigentlich nur einen halben) Abzug lediglich aus zwei Gründen: ziemlich kleiner Umkleidebereich im Spa; und leider gab es, als wir dieses besuchen wollten, nur noch einen verfügbaren Spind im Herrenbereich, was sehr umständlich ist, wenn man seinen Partner immer losschicken muss, um Sachen zu deponieren oder aus dem Spind zu...

"Frühstück könnte etwas reichhaltiger sein und schneller nachgefüllt. Viele Treppen, leider kein Fahrstuhl, also nicht unbedingt etwas wenn man eingeschränkt ist. Sonst wirklich alles super und weiterzuempfehlen!"

"Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in Bad Harzburg verbracht und waren sowohl vom Hotel als auch von der Kurstadt selbst positiv überrascht. Einzig schade war, dass das Hotelrestaurant und die Hotelbar abends geschlossen war. Dafür haben wir aber ein super Frühstück genossen und mit dem Glas Sekt am Morgen angestoßen. Lieben Dank auch nochmal an unseren tollen Kellner. Wir können es nur empfehlen!"
