"Don’t write reviews often, but this hotel is above and beyond. A 1906 structure that they just don’t build anymore, lovingly and beautifully restored, with 14 foot ceilings in the rooms!!! When was the last time you had a 14 foot ceiling in the bath area? The architectural features are of another gilded era, and brought back to life like it was yesterday. Service is excellent. Full marks."

"We've stayed at Ulysses several times over the years. For the first time we experienced a room without central AC. Our room had a small window unit that was not nearly adequate to keep the room cool during the 100º weather. Sleep was difficult. In the future, in the heat of the summer, I may plan to stay elsewhere."

When we arrived at night with my son, they still did not answer and then, after 25 calls, they answered and said it was canceled that morning. We booked one month out and we were confirmed. I travel all the time. Worst experience of my life with any business, especially a “hospitality” business."

"The Gramercy is beautiful. The gardens are peaceful and lovely. The room (Camelot) and common areas are charming and decorated with interesting pieces. I enjoyed the architecture and many of the pieces and furniture. Breakfast was wonderful! It was a wonderful stay!"
