On the positive side the building is highly secure within walking distance of most attractions in central Dublin including the castle, Temple bar, Guinness, Saint Stephen’s Park, the epic Museum, and others. "The Fleet Hotel was a such a revelation for us! We wanted to stay in a comfortable, quiet and safe area that is near to everything. Fleet Hotel clearly surpassed all our expectations. We felt we were in such a luxurious hotel with high end finishes. The staff was fantastic, the lobby bar was magnificent! The room we stayed in was perfect - quiet, plush and big for a European hotel. We'd love to stay here again!"

"A Godsend on a 17hr layover in Dublin. Soundproof rooms, thick mattress, hot shower with great water pressure, and lively atmosphere in lobby lounge. You can see the airport and horse pasture in back. Comforting to be close to the airport, but in a peaceful setting. Online check-in was seamless. Took €10 taxi from airport - too tired to wait for shuttle after long flight from Rome. Really happy with this place. "
