Top Far North Queensland Hotel Reviews
Cairns Plaza Hotel
8/10 Good
"Balcony good but trip hazard going out room big step from room doorway. Cup rings on bedsides from previous guests so not cleaned that well. Good view on Esplanade but very noisy at night from people partying on the esplanade. Hospital close so got helicopter noise. "
Ramada By Wyndham Cairns City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Very central to everything"
Mantra Esplanade
10/10 Excellent
"The bathrooms could be modernised however in saying that the rooms were wonderful and clean, well equipped. The staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a clean and refresh of towels and cleaning products like laundry powder and dishwashing liquid midway through our stay (despite only staying 6 days) which was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel itself is situated in a great location; walking distance to the pier, night markets, lagoon, casino, countless restaurants and shops."
Cairns Colonial Club Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed one night but it was really comfortable and clean. The shower was great and they had nice little touches for convenience. We arrived late after a flight and were able to order food at the bar, which was really tasty. I’d easily stay here again."
Cairns Harbourside Hotel
8/10 Good
"Hotel and staff were nice. Location was about 30 mins walking from the pier and 8 min drive from airport. This meant it was a relatively quiet area (sometimes planes overhead). Pluses: a shuttle runs to the center 4 times a day, (unheated) pool on site, and free parking lot off street Negatives: only one outlet in the entire room (under a table). Mattress was a little lumpy and bathrooms a little dated - but not terrible."
Cairns Sheridan Hotel
8/10 Good
"Friendly staff but like so many hotels in Cairns it is old and worn."
Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is very cosy, and we were given a lovely room. We’re really happy with it! 😊"
