"Restaurant, park, housekeeping staff was great. Room was nice. Front desk, poor. I needed to leave early, tried to check out 2 hours after checkout. ZERO refund. ZERO openness to a conversation, I witnessed equally unhelpful impolite behavior with the 2 guests in front of me. This woman just had to be right and have it her way. Because I paid directly to the hotel and not Expedia, nothing they could do… note to others. Nice enough place, but the front desk experience sealed it for me. Never again."

"Hotel has some peculiar design choices. Like a toilet paper holder tucked deep between a wall and the sink cabinet. And in the larger rooms, a fridge that can't be accessed unless the sliding bathroom door is closed. And the choice of using a sliding door in the first place, the type of which 15 years from now will be seen as a tacky and impractical anachronism. Despite the slightly weird rooms, the staff here was extremely friendly and ready to help. Appreciated that, and would stay again on account of that alone."

"I had a terrible experience at the double tree hilton-dearborn hotel. I arrived early on May 28th, 2026 around 12:00 p.m., I did an early check in and got charged a $25 fee which was fine. I got a room and went to see it. As I was walking, the property was dirty, the pool was filthy with so much film, and bacteria in it. As soon as I entered the room, it had towels on the floor, the bed not made , wasn't cleaned or touched after the person who was staying there before me. Mind you I was traveling with my husband and 5 yrs old. We got mad, went down and said the room is dirty, they waived the early checkin fee and assigned us to another room, checked out the second room, and found it filthier than the room before. We had a nonrefundable booking thru expedia, but I contacted expedia, and hotel manager to refund my money, we ended up leaving and booked another hotel. This is supposed to be a four star hotel ?! I can't give it any star rating honestly. Don't waste your time here !"
