"Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. "Kelapa comes right up to a black sand beach, and the view from the pool is fantastic. The rooms are more than spacious, and if you have a villa with a private pool you will have a full size pool; not a plunge pool. It was the perfect escape to wind down and relax after spending the first part of our trip in the more busy and crowded areas of Bali. If you are looking for a slower pace and more space than the more touristy areas of Bali this is the place. "

"From the moment I arrived, I was utterly captivated by the magnificence of Shankara Munduk Bali. I went here with my friend from Japan and they really like it. The villa itself is clean, very affordable price for this luxury accommodation and it’s near from banyumala waterfall and lake tamblingan as well. The breakfast itself, I really love the Munduk Pancake, it’s unique and not too sweet. After went to waterfall, I ate lunch in the villa. The Indonesian food was amazing, love the plating....

"We knew the property was remote but assumed there would be food available on site. This has not been the case since Covid. Management did not advise of this. There is a communal kitchen, which on arrival was poorly maintained to our disappointment. There was no dishwashing liquid or cleaning sponge and the blender was sitting out dirty. Management organised a scoter, but IDR (cash) is the only way to pay for groceries, petrol and most things in the area. So be cashed up and bring meal supplies....

"We had an excellent stay at the three-bedroom villa. The house is better in reality. It is very spacious and comfortable, well furnished, and the pool area is really pleasant bordering rice fields. The property manager and staff are very helpful. The only minus is the beach, which is quite unusable due to rubbish. You can walk on the beach but you cannot really sun bath or swim. I would definitely go back. "

"I was at Sahaja at Christmas time with my family and we stayed 2 weeks. We loved it that much that after 8 weeks we returned to celebrate my birthday (we were having a nap Bernard heheheh). Sahaja is the perfect place to unwind enjoy the sunsets and the tranquility. I dont think it was be suitable for young teenagers as they would be bored. Sahaja is the perfect retreat to relax and do nothing but enjoy the food, read a book and soak up the sun "
