"A beautiful modern hotel with amazing amenities. We stayed in a corner room, and it was exquisite. The room was not only beautiful with cool technology, but it has so many extras, including an umbrella, which is handy for Houston weather. We had a relaxing time at the pool, enjoying appetizers. Our server was professional and attentive. The bar at night was a fun scene. "

"Really lovely, fancy hotel. The staff were nice and agreeable but lacked follow through. We were missing a couple of items in our rooms, requested them from staff, and then they were never delivered. I was told they would accommodate our request for quiet rooms, and we were placed by an ice machine, a door where staff were coming and going, and above the pool where they play music evenings and weekend. "Exceeded our expectations - we were upgraded to stay in a mansion suite vs a room in the tower, which felt too good to be true but we said okay - the suite was amazing, felt luxurious and we loved it BUT directly outside the Van Gogh suite there must be a staff hallway or closet immediately outside the door and you can hear it open and close fairly loudly because of course it’s an old mansion - my husband and I didn’t mind it, totally worth the noise but other people who are more sensitive to...
