"The hotel was outstanding! Definitely a five star, the breakfast was very good, I would not recommend the Bistro for dinner there are better restaurants in town. "We stayed for 3 nights in May while visiting Italy. I can't say enough positive things about the Ara Maris. We were in a room overlooking the rear pool/garden with a private hot tub. We did not miss viewing the sea as we'd seen it throughout the day. The room was spacious and we especially appreciated the double sinks and the separate water closet. "Before we even arrived the staff helped to organise flowers, fruit, and sweets in our room as a surprise for my wife. Accompanied by both a personal message from myself and another from the hotel.
The room is immaculate. Lovely towels refreshed twice a day, the breakfast and evening food is both diverse and delicious.
We arrived during a rail strike, however the staff helped us to plan our journeys. Keeping us informed of the disruption and the best ways to get around the area.
