"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"We LOVED staying at this charming bed/breakfast in Bar Harbor!! It was so close to everything, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The breakfast (included) was fantastic, and they always had homemade scones/cookies/biscuits ready for the taking. Our room was very quaint and well-appointed. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us...we'll be back!!!!"

"Very easy parking, clean rooms, and friendly staff. It's just outside town and an easy ~10 min walk to main st with coffee shops, etc. Rooms are slightly dated but well maintained and comfortable. Everything we needed for our hiking trip to Acadia."

"Underwhelmed. Cottage was adorable at first. Not the cleanest, bugs in windows, stains on rugs and chairs, chips on the floor. Woke up to no hot water. The bathroom was clean. Went to front to ask about it and grab “coffee”. Honestly, coffee was similar to motor oil. A keurig would have been a better choice for the lobby. Maintenance came while we were at breakfast. I followed up and was told that I turned off breaker, which I didn’t do. Girl was polite when I asked for a refund for the 2nd...

"No attendant when we checked out. Please note that the doorknob to the bathroom for our room(201) was falling off. I hand tightened. Need either shades or bigger curtain in the window. Due to front door below our room, was slammed many times and during sleeping hours. We love the close proximity of the conviences, everything was in walking distance! We would stay here again! Loved your breakfast and loved This Way Cafe!!! Hope to see you again!!!"

"The staff brought breakfast to our room. The rooms are clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff sent messages you order your breakfast before at night and it arrived in the morning. It was excellent service and wonderful staff. Thank you."

"Fabulous hotel! Rooms were very clean. I have a view of Frenchmans Bay and downtown Bar Harbor. Sunrise everyday over the lobster boats and lobster buoys. Breakfast was great. Hotel has front loading washer and driers where you need a room key to get in, clothes safe. Front desk personnel was friendly and provided water bottles when needed. Very close to Acadia. I loved this hotel!"

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "
