Great for a quick stay

We just needed a place to stay for a few hours on a longer drive. The motel was convenient and easy to find. Staff was friendly and check in at 2 AM went very easily.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Many were smoking outside of the hotel. I would not consider this a smoke free hotel. The bed was comfortable and the people at check in were friendly. The hotel room could use some updating.

Location is close to ACU. No irons were available for guests. Bathroom floor was dirty. Leaking around base of commode? On Friday evening before 10 pm pool area was VERY NOISY.

For the price I knew what to expect, surprisingly I was somewhat surprised by the cleanliness, the room was not bug infested unlike all the other reviews and the pool was very nice and clean. The front desk attendant was also very friendly. All we needed was a place to sleep and it was fine

It was ok for an older hotel. Since the rooms open to the outside we had a few bugs and crickets. But the staff that I had contact with were very friendly and it was easy to check in and out.

I’m not sure how the facility all around was because I did not stay. When I went into the room I was registered for the bedding was dirty(covers) and the floor in the restroom had sitting water. Checking into the room the staff was pleasant and when I expressed my concern about room staff was accommodating returning fees

Room wasn’t terrible. When I got there, the comforter was a little dirty, just on the outside, like someone had stepped on it but the bed itself was nice and clean. I stayed a week. Saw 2 roaches which I killed. Ice machine wasn’t working. Staff was very nice

When we arrived the property was sketchy and when I went to the front desk it was in poor condition. Went to the room and the door was opened and it looked as if someone had been sleeping in the bed. I didn’t feel safe and I was traveling with 3 other ladies. I would never stay here. I asked for a full refund because it was that bad.

Room was clean. Loved the plank flooring instead of carpet. Staff was friendly & helpful. Only 3 pillows on king size bed & one of the three was so flat I folded it four times to make it thick enough to sleep on. We did not feel safe. Our room smoke detector battery cover was missing & there were no batteries. Breakfast was a joke, but coffee was good. LOUD party in parking lot until at least midnight. A simple call to police by staff would have easily stop that problem.

# Horrific conditions at the Baymont by Wyndham Abilene The Baymont by Wyndham Abilene is a horror show. There was no parking for handicap guests, and the entire property was covered in trash. The staff is very nice and helpful, so that’s the only good thing I can say about the place. The rest was just awful. Our room was dirty and the smell was unpleasant, and there were screws falling out of the door and dangling wires that were probably hanging by a thread. We are thankful that the staff was so nice and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel, and I hope that the management takes some action to fix these issues.

This is just a dirty property overall. My bed had stains on it, one of the bath towels was folded under the bathroom sink but wet on the bottom of it, toilet looked filthy, bathtub was dirty enough that I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower, and there was a roach on my bag when I was leaving. Keep in mind, I didn't even leave my stuff on the floor. Everything was elevated on dressers and nightstands yet the roach still managed to get to my bag. I have no desire to ever stay there again. On a positive note, the staff were at least friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

At check-in, the lobby was dirty and in this repair. And walking to our room, the swimming pool was full of brown water with trash, floating in it. Hundreds of cigarette butts littered the grounds. When we got in our room, there were cup rings on the bedside table, the porcelain was chipping off the bathtub, there was a pubic hair on the toilet tank, and air fresheners were shoved down into the air conditioner vents to try and mask a bad odor. The adjoining door between our room and the next roomwas then at best and we could clearly hear the conversations of the people in the next room. By all appearances, this hotel is used for drugs and or prostitution. We went to the lobby, immediately canceled our reservation and found another hotel where we did not feel like we would be in danger all night long. The only positive redeeming part of this hotel was the young manworking the lobby who was very courteous and kind. Hotels.com should not even list this place, as no one should stay here ever.
