"A bit disappointing this time around. There were no lamps in the room, the outlets were hard to access, the shower caulking was falling apart, and the wifi didn't work in the room so I had to hotspot. Okay for one night but would have been difficult to have an extended stay. The location is of course superb and the staff at the coffee shop is really lovely and super helpful. "

"What an amazing stay at the Talbot. We were looked after from the moment we crossed the door and the staff care, are professional and go above and beyond. A warm welcome and more. The menu on offer has a wide selection that suited the tastes of our large party staying at the hotel - fresh and delicious. I'll be going back!"

"Staff were friendly and professional but unfortunately the room I was first in had a blocked sink and then the second room had no heating. I had a meal in the evening that wasn’t fully cooked and was cold, I did get a replacement meal but overall my stay at this hotel was less than satisfactory. "

"Another fantastic stay, staff at this hotel are welcoming, friendly and are a credit to the hotel, they always make my stay more enjoyable, as someone who uses the hotel regularly it's great to be greeted by name upon arrival at reception,recognized by restaurant staff and friendly greeting from the breakfast team, the spa facilities are fantastic and relaxing, had a great room with view of the harbour, looking forward to my next visit"
