Farmland below Ramsden Farm In the bottom of the valley is Tar's Mill Cottage. A footpath descends to the cottage and then climbs the opposite side of the valley, firstly through a field and then it follows the track up to Ramsden Farm on the skyline.

The staff were polite and friendly, room was clean. The breakfast was very disappointing, very limited continental breakfast choice. I appreciate that avoiding food waste is important but not much selection at all. Is always a treat when staying away from home for us so wouldn't stay here again.
