"This was a hi-lite in our trip as the "Gardeners Cottage" was cute and clean. Very interesting history and the "rose gardens" are not to be missed. Very nice. Thx."

"The Terrence restaurant was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, except for the breakfast restaurant. They seemed annoyed when we asked for poached eggs, there were no cups left for tea or coffee. Again, they said 'aren't there any at your table". Impatient when we asked for help. We had the Balmoral suite, the view was incredible. It was a superior room and the bath was very deep and luxurious. The grounds were very relaxing. "

"A wonderful two night stay at this clean and perfectly located property. Communication and support from the staff was amazing and they could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The room was huge and easy to access with a great bathroom and a very comfy king bed. The property is close to city but set back off the street. Plenty of very close restaurant, including Buddha Thai and Pickled Evenings where we dined. Rate them both highly. Easy to navigate the sights of Launnie from this...

"When we checked in our room had a strange odour. It was only when I discovered several small ants around the room that I realized the odour was an insecticide. On our last morning there were more than 100 ants on the bathroom floor which took quite a while to kill them all. At check out we rec’d an apology but nothing more.
