Agamachi Hotel Reviews
Agamachi Hotel Reviews
5/5 Excellent
Good location, staff, and vibes.
"From what I remember, apologies for the late review, is that we enjoyed the room a lot. It had a large bed and a lot of space, and the view wasn't too shabby. We overlooked a main intersection that was fairly busy. Loved the decor and feel of the hotel. Only strange parts were that you needed to go all the way to the 14th floor for the lobby, which was slightly confusing when we first got there. Not an issue; it just took getting used to.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they had umbrellas to borrow for when it rained, and the location was decent/walkable -- in a good area with restaurants and things nearby. It was close to the museum and Hiroshima world heritage site. We walked everywhere from our hotel, except when we went to Miyajima.
I enjoyed the token system at the bar/restaurant, but my husband was annoyed by it. You basically get coins when you check in to use at the bar in exchange for drinks or snacks. What you are given equates to roughly one drink depending on what you get. My favorite part of the experience was the small snacks presented in fun round capsules. It was a bit over the top, but enjoyable.
I'd definitely recommend staying there as I/we felt it was comfortable/nice and well located. It was also very clean but not sterile. Definitely one of the top hotels on our 2+ week honeymoon. "
