"Das Hotel war insgesamt für eine Nacht ganz ok. Leider konnten wir unser Zimmer nicht wie versprochen ab 15 Uhr beziehen, sondern mussten fast eine Stunde im Foyer auf die Putzfrau warten. "So. This review only refers to the hotel. Schluchsee and the surrounding area is amazing and I absolutely recommend the restaurant Seehof in Schluchsee, although they also have service issues. The hotel is by far not as nice and comfortable as advertised in the pictures and on Expedia as a whole. The rooms are quite frankly a catastrophe in this price segment; no amenities except for a fridge, no AC, no ceiling fan, not even a water boiler. The only cool feature in the entire hotel is the 24...

"The Herrihof staff were excellent. We enjoyed our two bedroom apartment. It was spacious, with plenty of thoughtful storage and gorgeous views. The unit was updated and had a wonderful deck to gaze at the nearby valley."
