Cottages in Aire à Argonne

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 younger kids) had a two night stay here in Aug 2026 while travelling back from a longer trip to Switzerland. The B&B is comfortable and clean, the service is friendly and the continental breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine was a highlight. We spent a day taking the kids to the high ropes course (Arbre et Aventure) at the nearby Lac de Madine, which I'd recommend as an outdoor family day out. Would happily stay again.

Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back.

Friendly staff and really helpful. Room was very clean and air conditioning very welcome. Number 5 bus takes you into Annecy,staff happy to give a map and explain . We did get on the wrong bus coming back,but driver told us to stay on and drove us back to the correct bus stop, again really helpful. You really need to be able to go into Annecy for dinner,there's not much near the hotel except one fish restaurant.

Arrived during a heatwave to helpful staff, a spotless air conditioned room, plus some useful tips on eating out. Great breakfast in the morning. This hotel is excellent Well done to all involved.

The property is superb. Our room was superb. The staff were excellent. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Complete value for money. The only drawback was the idiot owner of the nightclub directly across the canal who was blasting out noise from the club at a demented level until 3am. It was so loud it vibrated the pillows beneath our heads whilst we tried to sleep. Apparently he does this every weekend. I asked why the hotel and local residents, it’s in an urban area that is otherwise...

My family of 5 had a great stay with a large 3 double bedroom appartment which was very clean and had everything we needed. Herve was an excellent host and really looked after us and the super breakfast kept us going for hours. Highly recommend. Thank you

Very well renovated old property, rooms exactly in line with the listing photos. A superb experience to stay here. Adequate breakfast.Friendly hosts. Worth a stopover if location suits your plans.

Beautiful building with great staff.

The accommodation was lovely and within walking distance of the main town. Our host was really kind and gave us a lovely breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this place.

What can one say? This place is utterly fantastic. Not only is it very beautiful & romantic but there is a mass of history concerning the place and the local area. It has to be one of the best places to stay, especially for a wedding or romantic anniversary. The outside of the place immediately, blew us away, but as we were led us inside to our room in the main house our host explained the various rooms on the way, the huge dining room (OMG), the breakfast room (WOW), the lounge (best for wi-fi)...

Very clean hotel, helpful staff who arranged an early breakfast for me so that I could catch my train. Good restaurant attached but could do without the music video objectifying women.

During my stay of a few days, Staff always very pleasant, courteous and always a smile irrespective what time of day it was. Reception & restaurant staff fluent in english & I believe other languages. Booked as a single occupancy my room was quite large complete with a big double bed, so plenty of room. Room always found tidy & clean at the end of the day with the bathroom towels hanging up nice & tidy. Breakfast always a good buffet, with choice of cereals, croissants,joghurts, fresh...
