"I can't say enough about the breakfast buffet. It was absolutely awesome. Staff was friendly and nice and very accommodating. We would be very happy to stay at Hotel Gibbs again. Property is right across the street from the Alamo. Very convenient to most of the attractions including the Riverwalk. See you again soon. Thank you for making us feel right at home."

"The only thing I didn’t like is that the intent of choosing the hotel was to watch the fireworks from the pool deck and was turned away because it was at capacity. The only sour spot on the trip."

"Toby and Dale at the front desk were absolutely attentive, polite and super helpful to me and my family staying at the penthouse suite. The maintenance gentleman absolutely made it a priority to address the issue of the ac acting up a bit but it was corrected fast. Toby and Daley outperformed themselves with accommodating my families staying there. Valet was a challenge but the GM at Maverick (Ms Bianca) made sure it was taken care of and even treated us to dinner for the inconvenience. She...

"This is an older property but clean. There was a leak in the ice machine on the 3rd floor that left the carpet wet. The staff was very helpful. It was noted that there would be no hospitality service during the stay. However, additional towels were easily provided by the service staff."

"This location was wonderful, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only downfall is it's in downtown where people are partying and playing loud music which we could hear. The people at the front desk and the lady in the breakfast area were great, very friendly and helpful. However it seemed like the lady the 2nd day at the front desk was not happy about being there, and didn't like to use words. The manager said she would take care of it."
