"The baseboard heat in the room was not working, making for a chilly night. The management provided a space heater and that kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! And the location is perfect for exploring Staunton. There are rather staff were all very attentive. There are rather a lot of steps to climb to get from the parking area to the rooms. And the bed, while quite comfortable, was very high making getting in and out challenging for my 88 year old wife."

"The hotel was old but in well conditions, the only bad thing was that the first night the AC didn’t work, so it was a really hot night, but then we got a new room, and everything was good!"

"Overall our stay was very comfortable. The towels were clean and fresh and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable and nice. We loved the fresh baked cookies on the first night and wished they were provided daily as a nice touch. Soft drinks in the fridge would have been a nice alternative to only juices. Service in the dining room was excellent but breakfast on day 1 was average, however, day 2 was very good. We truly enjoyed our lunch at Pippin Hill Vineyard next door."
