Very high standard of service. Simple but high quality rooms with extremely comfortable 5 star standard beds, pillows and sheets. The restaurant is surprisingly good and they cater for gluten intolerances. You can use the beach shuttle from the Hilton across the road to the gorgeous Falesia beach with beach club. As a single traveller I felt very welcome here and liked the quiet pool area. Reception staff are charming and helpful. Very good value and well located hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. It's main 'attraction' for me was not the waterpark, (which is included in the price and is excellent), but it's staff. They rescued us by sending my daughter's mobile phone in a taxi, to the airport when we realised two hours before departure that she had unfortunately left it in the room! Most enjoyable stay with friendly staff, well appointed apartment for the price and great swimming pool with it's own bar, delightful cocktail barman, Rudi, (check out his Sangria!) and poolside dining facilities. Also the main restaurant, Bobby Jones Grill and Bar was first class where the decking outside overlooks the golf course set in beautiful umbrella pines. Late afternoon 'happy hour' is a must! Amazing resort with even better staff, made me and my wife feel extremely well looked after. Receptionist able to deal with any requests and always with a smile no problem to big or small for the VDL staff. The resort it's self is beautiful with only a short walk to the beach where an abundance of fabulous restaurants and the resorts pool facilities. We booked the hotel as it was on the beach and had nearby restaurants. However, the food in the hotel was so good we soon upgraded to half board. Check in was easy and Ana on the front desk was great and helped us with booking tours as her local knowledge and contacts were invaluable. We chose a room with a sea view as it is a great view of the beach. Overall a great experience and no hesitation in going back.
