"When staying at properties like this, it’s always hit or miss. Sometimes they’re well maintained, other times not so much. I stopped using this property because it started to go down hill with the maintenance and some of the rooms were not kept well. I booked this time because I needed a quick reservation at the last minute and didn’t want to spend $500 for two nights at the Hampton Inn. The room was in decent shape. The only problem I had was the door sensor stopped working and it took about 30 minutes to get me into my room when I was coming back from the main event I came into town for. That was a little disappointing, but I cannot fault the property for an electronic problem like that. The maintenance man let my family in the room and came back to fix the problem by changing the lock. So I got what I needed despite the minor inconvenience. I would stay here again if they stay on top of upgrades. You get what you pay for so I’m not expecting my usual Hampton Inn, but I want at least the room and grounds to be presentable. They were."

"Great location for visiting Old Town Alexandria and DC. The metro was close and easy. Also good grocery store and restaurants close by."

"We have stayed here many times and always return to this location when we need to be in the DC area. The hotel is in a nice area where we can walk our dog safely day and night. The staff-desk, valets, and cleaning were very kind and friendly. Sheela was exceptionally helpful and made us feel welcome. We will be back, soon."
