"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay. The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. "The room had two big windows and a cute butterfly shaped bed. Big bathroom. Welcomed a board with a drink and friendly staff. The lounge and dining room was spacious and well decorated with comfortable furniture. Outside deck with comfy seating. The food was good and tea was served. The staff were very accommodating and friendly."

"Stayed there with my family of 3 on NY eve last year. The property was well maintained. While we didn’t get to try all the amenities due to the NY eve rush, the complimentary boat ride on the lake Vemnad was amazing (I would highly recommend to book in advance as it fills our fast). Food was ok. I would recommend this place who wants a quiet, family friendly place in Allepey. "

"We had a really poor experience… 1) The bathrooms and washing areas were smelling bad / extremely unclean… the taps were all fully dark and rusty 2) very salty water provided for all washing / bathing. 3) extremely un-friendly staff who were showing absolutely no interest in the welfare of the guests. 4) It was extremely hot during day time, so we asked them to switch on the AC and they said AC will be available only from 9pm. 5) We bought some expensive prawns from the shop they took as to ,...

"Kerela houseboats is the middle agency for blue house boats. NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent."
