"Oh wow! What a wonderful surprise this place turned out to be! The owner greeted us when we arrived and was so charming and welcoming. The apartment was perfect and offered everything you could ask for during your stay. The views out the windows were amazing, the location was ideal and we loved not being in a noisy hotel. Definitely recommend and would love to stay there again! "

"This was my first ever trip to Scotland, because we were coming up for a concert in Glasgow so we decided to stay at the Vu. We both had a lovely time. "A delightful old building, converted into nine apartments over three floors. We stayed on the second floor in room number 6, which was very spacious and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed. Sadly, we were a week early for the coffee shop opening on the gound floor. It was a pleasure to meet and chat to Kamila, one of the business owners."

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). "The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"
