Initial corner suite smelled strongly of damp, faced the staff cleaning buggy parking and had issues with cockroaches. While staff facilitated a room change, management offered zero compensation/upgrades: base service recovery for a serious issue. "Like quite a few of the other reviews, not a 5star hotel. Maybe 4 at best. Service inconsistent throughout. And more importantly, entire property is under construction both inside and out, and not minor renovations, we're talking the complete removal of steps and access down to the beach. Arguably one of the largest selling and marketing features of this hotel was non accessible without any disclosure. Instead you'd have to walk into town to get to any beach which is public vs the one you paid...
