"Hotel Ábaco in Altea was a great boutique hotel to spend my birthday weekend. The staff were all amazing the entire time and really took care to demonstrate outstanding hospitality, full of warmth, care, interest and professionalism. The spa services were delightful, too. [I chose a 90-minute massage and Reiki.] I'd highly recommend Cristina. The beach is a short walk down the main street, and all the eateries, cafes and shops are nearby and oh so charming. The rooms were also each unique and decorated in accordance with the room's theme, which was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable [dare I say too comfortable??] and the bathroom tub/shower combo was enormous and probably the most aesthetically pleasing tub/shower I've ever seen at a hotel. Needless to say, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Altea. "
