"This is a two star hotel nothing more. Did I know that when booking it? Yes I did. I chose it for the location only. We had a lot of problems with checking in and parking. If you have a car it will take you awhile to figure out how to get in the property to check in. I ultimately snuck in behind someone who had their card key. Otherwise we would have been waiting all afternoon. You can only get in with a card key. The room itself is like staying in a dorm room. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed of my entire trip. Would I stay here again? Yes and only because it was so convenient."

"We (2 adults) stayed in an apartment style room for 5 nights. It had a kitchen and dining /sitting area and separate bedroom and bath. It also had a balcony. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, silverware and some cooking utensils. During the day there were a lot of neighborhood sounds but it was quiet in the evenings. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, train station and sites. There's also a taxi cab stand in front of the hotel. This is very convenient because getting an Uber was impossible in Bamberg - few drivers, lots of wait time and we never did connect with one. The staff were very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend getting an apartment at this hotel-it was a nice treat. "

"Our stay was very nice, with only 2 issues which we truly were not pleased with. Paid for parking, but they have an issue with non-payers getting into the parking garage. Therefore, no parking 2 evenings in a row. Going back & forth, checking if a space was available. This was very unfortunate. The garage has a card key entry, but another could come in right behind. The easiest way is to have someone come thru hotel lobby, push the garage level button, without needing a card entry. Then person can get downstairs and open the garage door from downstairs. Frustrating for sure. The other issue, much less frustrating, no coffee ability in the room. Staff members were very nice, except for one who chose to count his cash box instead of trying to help with our parking situation. "

"For the price it’s great. Much better for a solo traveler or perhaps a couple willing to deal with the tight space. But it’s a good place to stay. "
