"We arrived on time for check in 3:00PM, but was informed by manager that my room wasn’t ready due to short staff, staff had a death in the family. The manager said it should be ready in 20 minutes, The time is now 3:25PM. I asked the manager again, was the room ready, she told me, “that the room needed to be inspected. I said did anything happen in the room ? She said,No! after the rooms are clean there policy the rooms need to be inspected.
Finally, the room was ready at 3:46. We entered the room checked things and notice the TV wouldn’t turn on so we called the front desk and they sent a tech to check. He noticed, it needed to be reprogrammed that took in additional,45 minutes. Then, I went into the bathroom and noticed there wasn’t a new Kleenex box, nor tissue roll and an empty bodywash container. So I called the front desk again and they sent them up to our room. So was the room attended and inspected.
Our last day, we got on the elevator to go to breakfast, smelled the bacon on the way and was looking forward to eating some. However, it looked different, was shredded, looked dry and tasted like paper. Overall, I enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi, gym, the staff was polite, the stay was nice, and was a very clean hotel, "
