"This was an excellent place to stay. We were a family of 4 and the property was perfect for us. The location was great, a half block off the beach, and the area had restaurants and shops."

"The location is very good, close to the beach. The room was clean, but the furniture and carpet are a little outdated. There is a little kitchen also, equiped with everything needed for a short stay. The price is very good for what it offers. Bonus: free parking place at the location"

Our second stay here. The room is a great size for a family of 4. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are so polite and our teenagers love the games room. Oh and the view isn't bad either

Very pleasant stay. Veurne is a lovely city which is just off the motorway about 30 mins from Dunkirk.
Near to Chanel ports and the seaside. The Hotel (formerly known as 'The Old House' ) is a grand building tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There are two entrances - front and rear. Parking is available only at the front. Owner/manager very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good as continental breakfast. Would recommend

We arrived a day early after getting confused with our days and rang Sandie the Owner, she got in her car and drove straight over, giving us a warm welcome and managing to accommodate us. We were given a code to enter through a remote control gate into a very secure Private Car Park. The room she showed us to was beautifully decorated, spacious and everything was very clean and fresh. We were expecting a Continental Breakfast so had a nice surprise when we were given eggs and bacon. There was...

A remarkable place to stay. As a hotel it does have it's limitations- light and soundproofing are both quite poor. However the bed was very comfy, the WiFi was decent, the bathrooms were very clean and the shower was good. Decent continental breakfast. Very friendly staff.
The main reason for staying here is to experience this historic building and the stories it has to tell. From that point of view it is amazing. So no it isn't the most luxurious place I've ever stayed but it might well be...

We loved the garden which is unique to a city hotel. Very airey and spacious hotel, with different areas to relax. Part of the hotel has a museum collection for World War 1, which is very interesting. Staff very attentive and pleasant.

The guesthouse had been lovingly restored to provide two guest rooms and a small living area. Delphine the host was delightful she was very helpful and informative. The breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend to other travellers.

The staff here were fantastic, I had a request pre-check in for a surprise for my wife, they helped make the arrival so much better. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast delicious, the gym equipment was good, clean and open 24/7. The spa was nice, clean and had a good facilities. The sea view room was perfect!

We stayed here for 3 nights in January 2015 as an "add on" to meeting family and friends in Bruges. The reception staff were friendly and our check in was quick and efficient. We were in room 107 which was huge by hotel standards ( twice the size of our room at the Bruges Crowne Plaza and about half the price! ) we had the most comfortable hotel bed we'd slept in for many years, and there were additional pillows and bed linen if required. The hotel is just off the main square and about 5 minutes...
