We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk.

Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend

The property was very beautiful and peaceful. The room service was good too. They helped us with the late checkin and luggage till the top floor where the room was. The lady at the reception was very welcoming. Overall a very good experience.

The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Beautiful view and amazing friendly staff

Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended

This hotel truly stands out as one of the most remarkable accommodations we experienced during our travels in Sri Lanka. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a much-needed treat after enduring an eight-hour car journey to reach the hotel. This thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated and set a positive tone for our stay. The reception staff, in particular, left a lasting impression with their exceptional service and friendly demeanour as they guided us to our suite...

We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view...

A lovely hotel that i would gladly stay in again. The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel has a stunning view over Gregory Lake! What makes this hotel is how friendly the staff are. They greeted us with a warm welcome every day and even gave us a free beer. The only suggestions to make this a top hotel would be more staff, as there seemed to be 2 of them doing everything. I would also suggest a buffet style breakfast and closing the door to make it safer,...

we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.

Very attentive staff. Food was freshly cooked and very good quality, flies were a slight issue

Just what we wanted to escape the busy world; quiet, self-contained and very comfortable. The staff were excellent and the accommodation was spacious with a fantastic bed; one of the best nights sleep we’ve had. The bath was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast, delivered to the room on time was delicious. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a hotel chain, then this is the place to stay.

Our host, Sanjaya, provided a warm welcome. Literally as he brought a portable heater into our room as the weather took a chilly turn. Great staff who could not have been more helpful with suggestions and with an umbrella! Breakfast was good too.

The location of the hotel is incomparable. We loved the opportunity to stay in an historic building which has been lovingly restored. We were incredibly well looked after by everyone who works at the hotel and highly recommend this accommodation and the delicious food we ate.

Fabulous old world luxury. We had a lovely afternoon tea on the terrace. Soaked in the spa pool. Wandered the immaculate gardens. Had a world tour for breakfast. A lovely relaxed stay surrounded be helpful happy staff.

Excellent hotel with professional helpful staff. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a fridge in the room
