"The pride and joy of this hotel is definitely the spectacular view with the rooms facing the pool, ocean and hills. The pool itself is gorgeous. I was disappointed that the men’s sauna was broken and be aware that the gym and indoor pool are open to the paying public. Breakfast is substantial with a decent selection. Coffee from a machine was a bit of a let down. The staff do their jobs but frankly I got the impression they’d rather not interact with the guests. No one really says good morning or good afternoon. Perhaps this is a cultural difference. The room was adequate although our shower leaked. I filled out a form to notify the hotel of this but it went unresolved. Overall a good choice of hotel when in Terceira."

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel, very well kept and every aspect of it just delightful. The breakfast was gorgeous, we look forward to it every morning. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The rooms and the hotel were clean and quiet and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the little touches in the lobby with the local biscuits and the refreshments. Overall, a really beautiful stay in a lovely town on a magical island. "

"I loved my time here. First and foremost, staff always had a smile and greeting and were ever ready to help me with any queries or bookings. The setting was intimate, with only 18 rooms, with coffee on tap every morning and hot breakfasts cooked to order. The 7.30am start also meant I was fully fed and watered before heading off on a tour, hike, boat trip, etc. My room opened up to the pool area, so I was able to benefit from that either side of the breakfast while letting the coffee kick in (coffee machine in room too). I also frequented the pool area in the afternoons, whether to sit on a rocking chair to read or simply dose off on a sunbed. I also made occasional use of the gym, steam bath, hot tub and sauna too. Finally, this is a very central location which was two minutes from cafes in the squares and park and three or four minutes from a wide range of really good restaurants."

"A beautiful family-owned country retreat surrounded by nature. The rooms are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and there is plenty of easy parking. It's only about a 15-minute drive to Angra, giving you easy access to town while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Take a walk through the surrounding area and you'll be greeted by the fragrance of beautiful flowers and the sight of cows peacefully grazing in the nearby pastures—it feels wonderfully authentic and relaxing. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made us feel genuinely welcome. If you stay here, you'll definitely want to rent a car, as it's the perfect base for exploring Terceira's stunning coastline, charming villages, and scenic viewpoints at your own pace. A truly lovely place to stay, and one I would happily recommend."

"This luxury boutique hotel is the very soul of the island. Everything that makes this island so special has been thoughtfully captured here in every detail. The contemporary architecture blends seamlessly into the breathtaking natural landscape. The views are spectacular, the location is simply unbeatable, and the sense of peace and tranquility is absolute. The hotel offers a beautiful swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, a yoga studio, a wellness and recovery center, and excellent massage treatments. The rooms are bright and beautifully designed, with exceptional attention to detail. Orthopedic mattresses, luxurious linens, a high-tech shower with outstanding water pressure, and an excellent ventilation system ensure complete comfort. At the same time, you can open the balcony doors and sleep with the window open, breathing the incredibly fresh island air that you almost want to drink. Every breakfast is a celebration of the island's finest local ingredients—fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. But what truly makes this place extraordinary is its radiant owner, her husband, and their wonderful team. They transform a stay here into one of the most memorable parts of your journey. With genuine warmth and generosity, they share the island's greatest treasures—from outstanding restaurants and unforgettable hiking trails to breathtaking viewpoints and hidden gems that only locals know. Spending four nights at this boutique hotel was an absolute joy!"

"Good location. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Liked being able to order omelets at breakfast. Front desk was not staffed most of the time (there was a phone number provided. Getting hot water in the shower was a challenge."
